During this time, health services began to develop well, due to the beginning of the separation of Bali as part of the Lesser Sunda province. In March 1963, when Mount Agung erupted, the dedication of the nursing staff at Wangaya Hospital was very great, where Ida Bagus Kompiang was the leader and organized the nursing staff to serve as volunteers to help victims of the volcanic eruption.
