Hari AIDS Sedunia (HAS)

World AIDS Day (HAS) is routinely celebrated on December 1 every year. This warning is intended to increase community knowledge, awareness and independence regarding the importance of prevention and encourage the community's active role in controlling HIV/AIDS. Inequality and discrimination that continue to occur make AIDS unavoidable. Stigma and discrimination make PLWHA experience double suffering. Stigma also hinders efforts to prevent, detect disease and cure it. Divisions, differences and disregard for human rights are challenges that must be faced in efforts to end the AIDS endemic. Through this commemoration of World AIDS Day, let us reach out together, move together, as the greatest force to end AIDS in Indonesia by promoting equality for all, especially women, children and teenagers. Without real and measurable action against inequality, the world, including Indonesia, risks not achieving its target to end AIDS by 2023.
